an academy in the Good Shepherd Trust
Cooked meals, including a vegetarian option, are prepared daily in our school kitchen by Mr Pound and his team. The children are offered a choice of main courses and desserts. Salad and fruit are always available. Meals are eaten in the dining hall.
School Meals are free for Years R, 1 and 2.
The cost of a school meal for KS2 is £2.15; we are happy to accept payment for the day, week, month, half term or term. Cheques (made payable to The Holme Primary School) or cash should be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the child's name and class and handed into the class teacher.

The new kitchens were built in Autumn 2014 and officially opened on Monday January 19th 2015 by our Year 6 School Council members, Adam and Chloe:
The children all report how much more delicious the lunches are now that they are prepared on site. As well as being tastier and hotter, they have been described as, "better than a Chinese takeaway"!
Mr Pound plans a variety of themed lunches, taster sessions and parent lunches. Keep an eye out in our newsletters for when these happen.
