an academy in the Good Shepherd Trust
We're sorry not to see you every day, but hope you are managing lots of learning and fun at home!
We've collected together a range of resources that you can use at home. Some need printing off, but others can be read on the screen and answers can go on paper.
Remember that there are a range of ideas on the Class Page too - the word lists for Year 1 and the sounds and number facts the children need to know by the end of Year 1.
After Easter our topic is What's in the Garden? We'll be reading Beatrix Potter books and focusing on growing things - we've already planted potatoes and will do lots more gardening. It would be useful to think about where our food comes from, names of different fruits and vegetables, names of the parts of a plant and what a plant needs in order to grow. Children could grow some foods of their own maybe - cress, radishes, flowers etc.
